WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES FOR BRISBANE and surrounding areas

Utilise this gallery of love stories for inspiration as well as to discover the skill, style and talent of Australian photographer Deb Boots.

As you will see in the galleries featured, Deb has photographed a variety of weddings:

  • urban weddings in industrial warehouse spaces like Lightspace in Fortitude Valley, Powerhouse in New Farm or Vieille Branche in Albion and funky city cafes and restaurants like Sassafras in Paddington, Eves on the River in Teneriffe and Moda & Malt in Brisbane City
  • country weddings on rural properties and quaint homesteads like Gabbinbar Homestead at Toowoomba, Branell Homestead in Laidley, Yandina Station on the Sunshine Coast, EcoStudio Fellini and Boomerang Farm at Mudgeeraba in the Gold Coast hinterland, Mavis’s Kitchen at Mount Warning and Byron View Farm in Byron Bay in Northern NSW, or closer to Brisbane Sirromet Winery
  • garden ceremonies in the Brisbane City Botanical Gardens, Roma Street Parklands, beneath the Kangaroo Point cliffs and on the banks of the Brisbane river next to Riverlife, The Landing Dockside, Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens or Topiaries at Samford
  • beachfront ceremonies from Noosa to Byron Bay
  • church ceremonies including intimate chapels to big cathedrals
  • vintage weddings

From the ceremony location to the reception, the weather to the pretty details, and the bride & groom and the bridal party themselves – all these things make every wedding unique and that is what is exciting about being a photographer in today’s wedding landscape.  Whether it’s a traditional or non-traditional wedding, Deb can capture your special day at any one of these locations:

  • Cattle Station
  • Homestead
  • Industrial Warehouse Space
  • Lake frontage
  • Orchard
  • Private Holiday House
  • Restaurant/Bar
  • Winery

All wedding photography prices are dependent on the amount of coverage required for locations within 2 hours of Brisbane city, including areas of the Sunshine Coast including Noosa & Maleny, as far as Toowoomba and down to Byron Bay including the Gold Coast. Areas outside of these regions incur a travel fee determined by location.

All Day PHOTOGRAPHY PRICES FOR BRISBANE WEDDINGS

Photography prices start from $2800, with our most popular being the all day photography coverage prices. Please contact me for the full price list and availability using the contact form.

DO YOU TRAVEL BEYOND BRISBANE FOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY COMMISSIONS?

Most definitely yes.  I am a Brisbane based wedding photographer and my general service area is South East Queensland from Noosa to Byron Bay in Northern NSW and out to Toowoomba.

Being a born and bred Sydney girl with family still living in Sydney, I have a Sydney base as well, and that means I am most definitely available for Sydney weddings as well as Australian and international destination weddings.

Generally once a destination is a 2 hour drive or more outside of Brisbane or Sydney, travel charges apply. Generally travel costs include return airfares, car hire, fuel, and two nights accommodation.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payments can be made by bank transfer or credit card through PayPal {Visa & Mastercard}. Credit Card payments do attract a 3% surcharge to cover transaction fees.

HOW MANY HOURS COVERAGE DO WE NEED?

One of the most popular wedding photography packages is the reception collection, which provides coverage from bride & groom prep to the first dance at the reception. It really comes down to what are the important moments to you. You may even want all day coverage to capture you from the time you wake up in the morning through to when the bride and groom leave the reception – your wedding, your choice!  There are photography packages with less coverage at lower prices if you don’t require reception coverage and specially designed photography packages for elopements.

DO YOU SUPPLY DIGITAL FILES?

Yes. My photography prices are structured around coverage with digital files included. Digital files are supplied as 8×12 high resolution printable files.

I do highly recommend printing your images! Not only do photos look beautiful in print, but I believe printed images stay in our memories. A printed image also tends to be more precious, because for whatever reason, it was specially chosen as a standout favourite moment to be printed.

Printing images is that extra security that irreplaceable photos are not lost. Digital files tend to get buried on our hard drives and forgotten or at worst media – ie. Hard drives, USBs, DVD/CDs – are known to crash or corrupt at times, and your digital files are lost.

I do offer a range of beautiful fine art albums and wall art products which can be purchased from our Finer Things in Life product range or as part of one of our wedding photography packages.

ARE THE DIGITAL FILES EDITED?

Yes. The digital files supplied on your USB receive global editing. Where Deb Boots LOVE STORIES refers to global ‘editing’ or ‘enhanced’ in relation to digital files, this means the image receives exposure & colour correction to the overall image plus my special colour enhancement treatment to enhance the feel of the image.

‘Editing’ does not include any retouching to isolated areas of the image, for example spot/blemish removal, skin smoothing, skin tone correction to fix spray tans, body contouring etc. If you require any editing to isolated areas of images, there would be an extra charge for retouching.

All images featured in purchased products, like albums and wall art, are retouched as part of the product purchase.

HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE RECEIVE?

I believe in quality over quantity, but every part of the day that I am hired to cover will be represented. I believe my role as a professional photographer is supplying each couple with a curated set of memories. That simply means I provide you with all the images I believe best represent your special day including all the people and elements that made it special. I’ve never had a couple complain they never received enough images, in fact quite the opposite, they are surprised at how many images they actually receive. Depending upon which collection you book and the amount of coverage included, determines how many files you receive. The images supplied on the USB are the discretion of the photographer.

HOW LONG BEFORE WE SEE OUR IMAGES?

Your images will be supplied around 4-6 weeks after the wedding.

DO YOU OFFER WEDDING ALBUMS AND WALL ART PRODUCTS?

I most certainly do. The best way to look back over your wedding day is through a printed wedding album or wall art. I offer beautiful fine art wedding albums and unique wall art products, which I can show you during an in-studio consult.

Products such as our beautiful fine art wedding albums, parent albums and wall art, can either be pre-purchased with a photography collection or purchased after the wedding. I have a collection that includes a wedding album or I can customise a collection to meet your requirements. I offer affordable prices on all of these items. Simply contact me to find out more.

All images selected for print in products are retouched.

I do offer payment plans for product purchases, to be able to spread the payments of your album out over time. Products aren’t delivered until payment has been made in full. For more information on Wedding Albums refer to the Products section.

HAVE YOU SHOT A WEDDING AT SO AND SO VENUE?

I often get asked have I photographed at a particular wedding venue, and a lot of the times the answer is no.  There are just so many wedding venues and new venues popping up regularly.  There are many wedding venues in the regular areas I service, but I also regularly am on a wedding photography assignment outside my general service areas.  I definitely don’t see this as a negative. In fact I see it as a positive because it means I have fresh eyes on the location and can create unique wedding photographs for your wedding.

If I haven’t photographed at a particular venue before, I often will do a location scout to view the property either before the wedding day or arrive early on the day to familiarise myself with the location.  I believe it’s important for a photographer to continually be inspired and photographing at different venues is definitely a way to do that.

Also being a creative wedding photographer, I am more inspired by the people I photograph. Capturing people’s personalities weighs higher on my agenda than the location.  I’m mostly a natural light photographer, so even finding that beautiful light is higher on my list than location.

I see the location is there to provide a beautiful, even interesting, but simple clean backdrop to the couple or people I am photographing, so they are front and centre. Don’t get me wrong, a pretty location always helps, but I do feel as a professional photographer, I can find a good spot that works in pretty much any location.  I believe that is the gift of a great photographer, to seek out what the average eye overlooks.

HOW DO WE SECURE DEB BOOTS TO PHOTOGRAPH OUR WEDDING?

A $500 non-refundable retainer and signed contract is required to secure your wedding date. The balance of your photography collection is due 30 days before the wedding date. If you are adding an engagement portrait session to your package, the engagement session fee is due at the time of the session.
