From the moment I met Samantha & Bart and we were discussing their engagement photography session, I knew we were up for some laughs on their wedding day. BTW if you haven’t seen their engagement shoot, I recommend you check out their Lovebirds engagement photography session as they had fun playing dress ups thanks to Bart’s idea coming to life.
As I predicted, there wedding day was heaps of fun, literally from the moment I landed on the boys doorstep. Shortly after arriving, one of the groomsmen came out wearing just his vest and no shirt. The laughs didn’t stop when we reached the girls house either. Samantha’s stunning wedding gown is from the Pronovias Collection by White Lily Couture in Milton. Hair & Makeup was by The Beauty Case. The stunning wedding bouquets were from Redlands Fresh Flowers.
Before we knew it, we were off to the ceremony at Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens at Brookfield. I hadn’t photographed a wedding at Bundaleer Gardens before, and the best thing about Brisbane wedding venues, is you dont have to drive far from the city to find a country style wedding venue right on Brisbane’s doorstep.
Samantha & Bart took their wedding vows under the big tree in a garden ceremony conducted by celebrant Rob Moscoso. I love photographing garden ceremonies as they give us photographers more room to move and many more angles to capture the bride and groom from, as well as guests.
Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens offers some beautiful countryside and forest backdrops as well as the country field across the road.
Then it was time to get the party started under the marquee.
